Riga Fashion Week October 2009

October 28-31 Latvian capital is to stage its biennial fashion festival. Organized by the Baltic fashion federation, the Riga Fashion Week October 2009 (RFW) made Riga fashion capital of the Baltic region.
Now in its sixth year it provides an excellent platform for promoting fashion trends by Baltic designers and international brands for spring-summer 2010. The event includes usual fashion catwalk shows, exhibitions and parties, to entertain visitors.
In this edition the RFW is to present the famous world fashion designers. New collections were presented on 29 October in Reval Hotel Ridzene by SALT (Latvia), CristinaEffe (Italy) and Diana Denissova (Estonia).
Notably the master of Spanish fashion – Roberto Verino – will come to Riga as the Special Guest on Riga Fashion Week to present his fashion brand collection. Roberto Verino is known to open his boutique in Riga in 2008 which very soon was recognized as the best fashion shop with the most interesting models at the Latvian Style and Fashion Awards ceremony.
Our special correspondent recons that according to Riga Fashion Week October 2009 fashion shows vintage is again in fashion. Modern clothes will combine elements of romanticism and baroque style as well.
Will see but I dear hope that the era of femininity won’t end with the winter 2009. Even futuristic fashion collection presented during the opening of Riga Fashion Week October 2009 show flash feminity in each woman dress model.
