A well-known womenswear designer Anna Sui has launched new fragrance Rock Me!
For Anna Sui rock music has always been one of her inspirations. If you were at her shop you would probably notice that it is decorated with posters featuring bands from the Woodstock era through The White Stripes and Radiohead.
So it is not surprising that Rock Me! new fragrance by Anna Sui is a real “tribute to the electricity and energy of rock-n-roll.” Rock Me! fragrance is a combination of fashion and rock culture. But in her new item, Anna Sui decided to use not the classical rock culture, but a glamour rock in all it’s gloss.
Rock Me! New Fragrance by Anna Sui is an Eau de Toilette with listed notes of pear, green orange, and peach skin; honeysuckle, jasmine, and waterlily; and cedarwood, amber, and vanilla.
Anna Sui’s Rock Me! fragrance is promoted as a “wild young floral fruity essence”. Being on the sweet side of dangerous, mysterious, rebellious, the fragrance is deeply romantic and charming at heart.
Rock Me! opening phase is a sherbet-like orange-peach blend, slightly acidic around the edges. Some airy floras bloom in the middle of the fragrance’s development, mostly lily and a mainstream sort of jasmine petal. Dry-down part of Anna Sui’s fragrance is the citrus-smoothie notes melting into an amber-cedar base that feels clean but warm.
The fragrance itself is also bright and neatly structured. Though youngish, but could easily be worn by someone past her teens.
Rock Me! new fragrance by Anna Sui is fronted by the fashion model Agyness Deyn, wearing black leather, black nail polish, black-rimmed eyes.
Actually, black and pink color combination is a typical for rock style and Anna Sui knows it al right.
The new fragrance is sold at Target and Anna Sui boutiques.
